20th June, 2008 - Many Hands Make Light Work Up with the lark, Matt & Caitlin set off to undertake the morning ritual of feeding the livestock.
Unfortunately, it was during this outing that they identified that yesterdays turkey casualty had not survived the night - 1 down, 19 to go!!!!
Given that Henrietta had flown 6 foot up and decided to join the turkeys for breakfast, we agreed that the first job of the day would be to secure the bird netting roof to the nursery pens.

With Matt & Caitlin stretching out the netting, Dan assembling his tools (there is a joke in there somewhere!), Tracey returned to the house to fetch the camera.
The girls identified the easiest option in covering the 8m x 6m pound with netting and with 4 adults (ok, 3 plus Dan), the roof was on in no time.

In a bid to avoid the turkeys picking 7 bells out of each other in future, Matt & Caitlin made dvd mobiles to hang in their pens - the idea being that they peck the mirror dvd instead of pecking their feathered siblings.
