1st July, 2008 - Chicken Pathe News!

Blanche decided that she would rather be in with the Bronzer Boys (2 bronze turkeys in the naughty pen for bullying!), than in her own pen with Gloria and Henrietta. So, she pecked a hole in the bird proof (?!?!?) netting and let herself in! (maybe she fancied a bit of rough!!)

This now means that Dan has got another job on his maintenance and repair list!

On the other side of the pen, the "fattener upper" chickens were all laying down. As they are now big enough to wander outside the pen, and could probably do with the exercise, we decided to leave their door open so they could have a wander around the pond.

Five hours later when we went back, it was pretty evident none of them had moved a muscle and gone anywhere - lazy bastards!
