2nd July, 2008 - Congratulations Or Commiserations To Sox?!

Two days ago Sox was due to give birth but there have been no visible signs this has happened successfully.

Prior to the birth we would expect the mother to build a nest.

At the time of the birth there should be signs of 'hair' cushioning the nest and obvious signs of blood.

However, there are no obvious signs and her nest appears to have been trashed!

The signs are all pointing towards a phantom pregnancy - sad!

We will have to wait a week or so to know for sure.
