10th July, 2008 - Plump, Organic And Dead As A Dodo!

One of the 'table birds' (fattner upper chickens) was found dead in the pound this morning - there was no sign of foul play.

This breed of chicken are prone to dropping down dead with heart attack so maybe it just keeled over and died of natural(?) causes.

Whatever the reason we now have nine birds and they should make the effort to get out and get some exercise!
