19th July, 2008 - Who Came First The Chicken Or The Egg?!

Congratulations!

One of our girls has laid a decent size & perfectley formed egg (first ones can often be small and/or mishapen).

The colour of the shell is quite pale so we know it wasn't Gloria (red chickens lay the popular brown shell eggs).

This egg was laid either by Henrietta who has grey feathers or Blanche who has white feathers.

Until they are both laying and we can compare the shells of their eggs we will be unable to establish who laid first - unless of course we catch one of them in the act!!
