11th August, 2008 - What Is Wrong With These Bloody Turkeys?! Something is going wrong with our turkeys!
Yesterday the little buggers decided to break out from their generous enclosure and roam around the garden.
Today, they did exactly the same again and we cannot figure out why.
Their enclosure is a good third of an acre with plenty of vegetation and grass hoppers, so why they feel the need to jump the fence and then wander around just doesn't make sense.
So, once again, the errant birds were led back to their enclosure with a bucket of food.
A couple of hours later, we discovered that another one had died!
There was no sign of any injury or illness - the bird had just keeled over and died.
This is becoming very worrying and we just don't know what is wrong with them.
