10th September, 2008 - Dick's Last Injection

It's been 6 days now since Dan administered Dick's first injection.

Today was the last injection and Dick has definitely made a huge improvement, although he does still have some way to go.

He can now stand and walk on 4 legs, but when he first gets up, he resembles an old man, groaning and grunting while he straightens up.

The first few steps are the most cautious, but once the blood is flowing again, he's happy to walk around.

Given that just a week ago we went to bed expecting to have to slaughter him the next morning, it's really heart warming to see him well on the road to recovery.
