29th September, 2008 - Even Animals Need A Routine

How times have changed - in her previous corporate life, Tracey devised a "get-well programme" for her staff who were not pulling their weight - now a "get-well programme" is required for sick livestock!

Given that we've already lost 11 turkeys in less than 4 months, we are keen to do everything we can to hang on to the ones that are left!

The 2 turkeys in "A&E" are not exactly a picture of health, but they are receiving first rate care and better than the NHS as they didn't have to wait long to be seen by Dan!

The 7 remaining healthy turkeys are now putting on weight at quite a pace and are happy with their regime of doors unlocked at 8am for playground duties and back to base with a bucket of grain for supper at 6pm, followed by lights out!
