2nd November, 2008 - Bloody Rabbits! We are fortunate that we have a large garden - 3 acres in fact. Now, with that amount of land, you would think that there was plenty of room for everyone...
...unfortunately, one of Mimi's escaped babies doesn't agree with our philosophy and thinks that all the veg on the veggie patch is his for the taking!
If the blasted thing would just eat the weeds, then there'd be no problem - but helping himself to the baby white sprouting brocolli plants is just not on!
Nor is the fact that he is also digging up the carrots and taken a shine to our swiss chard!
This morning when Dan opened the bathroom shutters, he saw the bunny trying to work it's way out of the fruit cage.
So, quick as a flash (well, not quite, but you get the idea), Dan went into the fruit cage to flush the little sod out.
As he chased the rabbit out, hopefully scaring him enough to keep him away, Dan called out that if he comes back, then the bunny will soon be headbutting the wrong end of a .22 bullet! View The Blog Read All Rabbit Stories |
